Some positive progress
This little doll is a special order for a goth girl. It would never have occurred to me to do a goth girl but I really having a blast molding my style to fit into the look. I feel especially clever about the wig, if I don’t say so myself. I took the pattern that I have been using for the bob hair dos and “bumped it up” by stuffing the back. I think she need a headband, though.

Goth… I never thought of that. A silver headband might look good, or maybe dark purple.

I just love how you’ve sculpted her face. She has such personality already! I can’t wait to see her finished.

Thanks for noticing the sculpting, Michelle. I have been using yarn and a tapestry needle to pull the basic shapes into the more specific shapes that I want.

She’s awesome, reminds me of Amy Winehouse. You’re needle sculpting the faces?! I thought that was some kind of difficult decreasing. I just saw your previous post about someone selling your book online >.< for shame on them. I wish I had saw it early enough to send her a nasty email & I hope etsy takes some kind of action against her.

I immediately thought Amy Winehouse, with that beehive. Of course, pre-drugs, when she was still gorgeous. I can’t wait to see the rest of her body! And I absolutely adore the glam details, like the beauty mark and little bow mouth.

She’s cute but the sculpting makes her face look somewhat deformed.

Dusty-My toys are not meant to be realistic representations. The severe and exaggerated upturn of the nose is intentional.
