Well, they took the better part of 2 days, but the sneakers are done.

Although I generally avoid using glue, I found that I had to in this instance.  When I tried sewing the pieces to the foot they got all distorted.

It looks amazing! I love the details you chose to get it from foot to sneaker.

  3. As I looked at the pics, I thought, “hmm, is Beth using some glue?” I’m so proud of you. Detail mongers like we just about twitch when we have to resort to glue, but sometimes it’s so worth it. In this case, definitely, cuz those shoes rock.

SO CUTE and ADORABLE – love how you put them together – just AMAZING! Thank you for sharing your jouney to making them, too. It’s so cool to see an idea from the very beginning to the end! (^_~)

  16. Your attention to detail is what sets you apart from all other crochet artists. I could look at your work all day. Did you come up with your techniques all on your own? I would love to know more about how you come up with your construction process. The way you shape your dolls is amazing. I’m in awe. You must have so much patience.
